Description
Gentlemen, This is a Guest! Training Manual with Walt Disney Attractions Performance Excellence Statement (Walt Disney, c. 1980s-1990s). Most of us think of Disney and Disneyland as family-friendly entertainment, but this humorous group of ephemera gives us a look behind the scenes at the more distinctly human side of Disney. We have here a rare and intriguing (not to mention funny!) Disney training publication written by Van France entitled "Gentlemen, This is a Guest!" It differs from many other Disney training materials that you'll see in that it isn't quite as family-friendly and corporate-sounding as you might expect. France uses several expletives throughout the document, as well as a healthy dose of humor. This 15-page document is a unique look at the internal workings of the company. Also included with this group is a Walt Disney Attractions Performance Excellence Statement. The 17-page document contains a wealth of information about the company's goals, mission, and traditions. The group is in Good condition, with some handling and wear. There is some toning, staining, and smudging on the documents. From the Rummell Collection.
