Description
Galaxy Express 999 Maetel Figure (Epoch, 2000). Featured in this lot is a fantastic vinyl figure of the beautiful and graceful Maetel from Leiji Matsumoto's space opera classic Galaxy Express 999. This specific figure was showcased in 2008's "Anime! High Art - Pop Culture" exhibition at the Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum in Frankfurt, Germany. With its base, this figure measures 9.75" tall. The figure shows restoration work in Maetel's hair, right wrist and the bottom of her left foot, but the piece otherwise shows light handling wear. The piece does not come with its original box, and the condition is Fair to Good.From the Glad Museum Collection.
