Disneyland - Sleeping Beauty Castle First Edition Figure by Robert Olszewski (Walt Disney, 2002). This beautiful piece is a first-edition model of the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle from Disneyland. This model was the very first piece that Robert Olszewski designed for his Main Street U.S.A. Collection of miniature models. It is created with resin, with a wood base and metal plaques on the front and underside of the piece. The detailing on the piece is simply stunning, with gorgeous, hand-painted details, intricately-sculpted foliage, and more. There's even a tiny interior scene in one of the castle's towers, depicting Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip! The piece's base measures about 10" x 8", and the model has an overall height of about 5.5". The piece was designed to light up but has not been tested and is sold as-is; no power cord is included. The sculpture is in Good to Very Good condition, with some handling and wear. A few small flags have broken off the castle towers, and the removable roof section over Aurora and Phillip has a tiny broken-off piece on its underside.Auction Info
