Description
Disneyland - Partners Statue "Dreams Never End" LE Bronze Sculpture by Blaine Gibson #165/250 (Walt Disney, 1990s-2000s). "I hope we never lose sight of one thing, that it was all started by a mouse." The spirit of Walt Disney and his trusted partner Mickey Mouse live on through this "Dreams Never End" Bronze Statue, a retired Disneyland Resort Exclusive! Sculptor Blaine Gibson envisioned "Partners" as a tribute to his friend, featuring "Walt in his prime... admiring the Park and saying to Mickey, 'Look what we've accomplished together,' because truly they were very much a team through it all. 'Look at all the happy people who have come to visit today.'" In a grand ceremony, the original "Partners" Statue was unveiled in the Disneyland Central Plaza on November 18, 1993, in honor of Mickey's 65th birthday, and has since become a tradition at five locations worldwide. "Dreams Never End" is a miniature celebration of the Partners Statue, exquisitely detailed with his iconic Smoke Tree Ranch tie and a suggestion of his Irish Claddagh ring. This edition was limited to 25 Artists Proofs and 250 pieces, with the original molds destroyed once production was completed. The result was that "Dreams Never End" swiftly sold out, was retired, and has become one of the most cherished tributes to "Partners". Standing 8.5" x 6" x 3", this commemorative masterpiece numbered 165/250 is in Very Good condition, exhibiting minimal signs of handling or wear, and is sure to become the magical centerpiece of your very own magic kingdom!Auction Info
