Disneyland - Main Street Park-Used Bench (Walt Disney, c. 1955 - 1990s). This is an incredible Park bench that refreshed audiences in the Plaza and Town Square on Main Street U.S.A. at Disneyland! Few aspects of the Disneyland experience are more emblematic of Walt's vision for his Park than the iconic green Disneyland benches. Since 1955, this style of bench has offered guests a moment of reprieve to rest and take in the splendor and serenity of Walt's Park. Inspired by Victorian design, the bench is composed of sturdy wrought-iron legs with wooden support beams. To maintain the high show quality standards of the magic kingdom stage, these benches received nightly coats of paint in addition to scheduled periods of off-stage maintenance. This bench likely saw many years of operation at Disneyland, with countless VIPs enjoying its comfort during their Park visit. Measuring approximately 8ft long, this functional Park prop is in Very Good overall condition, exhibiting minor surface wear, and a restoration of fresh paint, to enhance the character of this Disneyland artifact.Auction Info
