Description
Disneyland - Frontierland Security Vest (Walt Disney, c. 1960s-70s). This is an exceptionally rare vest worn by one of Disneyland's security officers in Frontierland. Likely used in or around the Indian Village or near the Indian War Canoes, this vest features an early style of the Disneyland Security patch on the back, with a hand-written size M inside the collar. Painstaking detail goes into keeping the illusion of Disneyland alive, so costumes like this would allow the necessary security officers to better blend in to the themed environment of the land without taking away from the guest experience. The vest is in Fair condition, with moderate staining and residue at the lower back from moisture and age. A true rarity, this is the only such vest we have seen offered for public sale.Auction Info
