Disneyland - Collection of (23) Disneyland Pin Production Samples by Kevin & Jody (Walt Disney, 2000s). "Here age relives fond memories of the past", through this collection of (23) unique pin production samples, for limited-edition series of collectibles celebrating popular characters and adventures of Disneyland Park! Disney Artists Kevin & Jody began their illustrious journey nearly three decades ago in Disneyland's Entertainment-Art Department, where they contributed toward shows, parades and window displays for Disneyland, before moving on to creating high-quality collectible merchandise for the Walt Disney Company. Some of the most memorable "merch" are exclusive, limited editions from The Disney Store, much of which was designed by Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily. Featured in this lot are (23) production samples of commemorative pins from several limited-edition collections and sets, celebrating the iconic imagery from a bygone, vintage Disneyland. Included are miniatures of souvenir ephemera like "Walt Disney's Guide to Disneyland", a Holidayland Nametag, an Enchanted Tiki Room Admission Ticket. Also included are pin tributes to signs like Big Game Shoot and the Blue Bayou, and prop paintings like Marc Davis' "Redhead" Painting Pirates of the Caribbean and his "April to December" Haunted Mansion Changing Portrait. The pins measure a variety of sizes. Some exhibit variations differing from the final product and degrees of wear from production and handling. All are accompanied by their pinbacks with four metal.
