Description

Disneyland - Ambassador Pin (Walt Disney, 2000s). This is an exceptionally rare pin worn by the prestigious Ambassadors of Disneyland. Disney's Ambassadors are a select and renowned few who represent the Disney Parks to the world, as emissaries of goodwill to the community. The Ambassador program began in 1965 with Julie Reihm as the first Ambassador during Disneyland's Tencennial. Since then, Disney's Ambassadors have welcomed dignitaries, made appearances at events, and generally represented the values of the Disney Parks to the general public. This is among the holiest of grails for pin collectors, as any Guest Relations pins are difficult enough to come by, but Ambassador pins are among the scarcest. The pin measures 1.5" x 2.25" and is in Fair to Good condition with minor surface wear and a small break on Tinker Bell's right hand.
