Description
Disneyland - 30th Anniversary Party Gras Parade Original Concept Drawings Group of 19 (Walt Disney, 1989). This is an incredible archive of 19 sheets of original pencil drawings used in the design and creation of Disneyland's historic Party Gras parade of 1990. The parade was a massive show element to Disneyland's landmark 35-year anniversary, and these illustrations depict various themed performers for the parade that were inspired by Carnival celebrations in different parts of the world. The drawings were accomplished by the parade's Art Director, Scott Sinclair, of Disneyland's Entertainment Art department on thin sheets of vellum paper, and most range from 18" x 8.5" to 24" x 19". The condition is Good overall with some creases and handling wear from use, as well as some yellowing to the edges of a few of the sheets.From the Personal Archives of Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily.
