Disney Parks and Resorts - Beauty and the Beast SOLD-OUT Big Figure (Walt Disney, 2015). "And when we touched, she didn't shudder at my paw." The bold and daring Beast prepares to confess his love for Belle in this Big Figure celebrating Walt Disney Picture's Beauty and the Beast released through The Art of Disney at Disney Parks! Disney Big Figures debuted in 1989 with a simple release of the "Disney Standard Characters" Mickey, Donald Duck, Pluto and Goofy. However, Disney retail branches expanded the collection to include exclusive and limited-edition figure releases based on popular feature films, issued through The Disney Store, The Disney Catalog, and Disney Parks. Walt Disney Picture's Beauty and the Beast is remembered for its warm and charming cast of characters and Alan Menken's memorable music which furthered the renaissance for feature animation at Walt Disney Studios. This impressive figure was designed by artist Monty Maldovan and has delicately applied hand-painted features atop a parquet floor base accented with a rose relief. This collectible was released through Disney Parks and Resorts in a limited edition of 300, was soon "retired", and has long since been sought after by fans. Measuring 25.5" x 24" x 16.5", this Big Figure is comprised of four parts - two figures, a rose accessory, and a base, and is in Very Good condition, exhibiting a few scuffs and minor wear. The rose shows signs of scuffs, small chips and wear.
