Disney Catalog - "Thumper" RETIRED Big Fig (Walt Disney, 1999). "I'm thumpin'! That's why they call me Thumper!" Thumper the rabbit stands in a thicket, ready to meet the Prince of the Forest in this limited edition "Thumper" Big Figure is inspired by the endearing character from Walt Disney's animated feature-length motion picture adaptation - Bambi! "Big Brother" Thumper was brought to life by animator Marc Davis for the 1942 Walt Disney Production. Artists Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily have brought the adorable baby bunny to life through an expressive figure, three floral accents, and a forest display base, embellished with a carefully replicated color palette. This piece was released through Disney Shopping from 1999 and 2006, was sold out, "retired", and has long since been sought after by collectors. This complete figure sculpt measures 10" x 9" x 13", and is in Very Good to Fine condition with minor wear, and is accompanied by its Certificate of Authenticity, instructions, polyform packaging and the original 12.5" x 15.5" x 16.25" box.
