Dave Graue Alley Oop Comic Strip Syndicate Proof Sheets Box Lot (NEA, 1980-1988) Graue, longtime assistant on V.T. Hamlin's cavemen-and-dinosaurs feature Alley Oop, had taken charge of the strip by increments since 1971, during Hamlin's gradual retirement. A solo-Graue Oop is virtually identical to the Hamlin style, as a consequence of their extended affiliation. This mighty tome collects various daily strip proofs from 1980 through 1988. Paper proofs measuring 9.5" x 14". Light handling, and edge wear, faint toning, and soft creases. Over 150 proofs and averaged in Excellent condition.Auction Info
