Presented is the earliest known photo of the remarkable animator and Disney Legend Bill Tytla (1904 - 1968), taken while he worked in Paramount Studio. An outstanding animator from the early stages of his career, Tytla began working for Paul Terry in a series of animated adaptations of Aesop's Fables with a group of 20 artists, proving himself to be an invaluable part of the production team by being able to draw whatever he was assigned. This extraordinary photograph features Tytla on the left area of the image, accompanied by his colleagues, with an image area of 9.25" x 7". The lot is offered on a 15" x 13" glass-fronted frame with a 9.25" x 7" mat opening. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The photo shows minor handling wear with a small tear on the top edge not affecting the image. In Very Good condition.
