Brown and Don Turnbull. Cover by Dave de Leuw. Cartography by Graeme Morris.The second book in the Saltmarsh trilogy of linked adventures designed by TSR's team in the United Kingdom. The store-driven adventure tends to somewhat anti-thetically steer players toward resolving the conflict through diplomacy instead of combat, ironically cheating them out of one of the era's best dungeon crawls. The entire trilogy was remastered for the 5e campaign book Ghost of Saltmarsh (2019). CGC notes, "Seal type: H-Overlap." CGC census 4/25: 1 in 9.6, 1 higher.
