Manga Comic Group Lot of 80 (Various, c. 1950-69). Manga are Asian (typically Japanese) comic books. This collection of vintage manga features some very interesting gems. The most recent is a 178 page 1969 Men's manga (with topless photos) that features a story similar to Golgo-13. The oldest is a copy of Tokyo Puck from 1952 in Poor condition. It measures 10.25" x 15" and features 32 pages illustrating various levels of Hell. Each two pages is a fold out two page spread with text on the back. There is an undated scroll of what could be described as "Trading Card" images. The scroll is 5.5" wide, but so brittle that it cannot be safely unrolled. Several cards have broken off the scroll already as it is in Poor condition as well. Next there are two 142 page manga of comic strips about family life. A set of five 16 page 7.5" x 5.25" comics feature stories of an older military man and his young Kung Fu female assistant. A group of five 6" x 4" manga appear to be war propaganda from the 1950s. Another of the same approximate size is about a villager's revolt on the Government. Lastly there are 64 different 5" x 4" digests of stories of feudal Japan. They are from the early 1960s and the page count varies from 90 to 180 per book. Unless noted the books are in Good to Very Good condition.
