Description
Mad Magazine Alfred E. Neuman Small Ceramic Bust (EC, 1960). A ceramic bust of Mad's hero, Alfred E. Neuman. Produced in 1960, this bust could be ordered in 2 different sizes, of which this is the smaller 3 3/4" version (Actually measures about 4"). The base of this bust is glazed while the top remains raw ceramic, as these were sold with the intention of the buyer painting the iconic red hair and freckles. The felt bottom has mild discoloration, and the unglazed ceramic has some dirt and handling wear, overall in Very Good condition.Auction Info
