    Description

Lumar Service Station Playset #3490 Complete in Original Box (Louis Marx and Company, c. 1950s-60s). Get ready to gas up with this complete Service Station playset, one of the great Marx playsets issued from the 1950s until the early 1970s. It is in the original complete illustrated box with all four sides, lid, and three tuck-in flaps as issued, 11" x 17" two-sided P-1144 Instruction Sheet, seven of the Marx printed paper bags that hold the components, and one box containing the tow truck, plus an unused 6.5" x 4.25" sheet of colorful transfer decals. There is minor scratching and wear to the base of the walls of the service building and to the awning; paper bags and instruction sheet show aging to the paper, yet they remain nice. The 17" x 30.5" x 3.5" box shows light aging and a touch of edge wear with the back side pushed in a bit. Overall the box is in Fine condition, and components are in Very Fine condition. This lot will have to ship from Dallas to the winning bidder.
