Knott's Covered Wagon (c. 1900s). Walter Knott paid homage to his ancestor's covered wagon journey from Texas to California with a massive mural painting in the form of a cyclorama painted by Paul von Klieben. The immense painting showcased a covered wagon train crossing the desert under a blistering sun. This painting was the origin of the creation of Ghost Town. This antique wagon with a modem-day Knott's logo cover is one of the most symbolic pieces in this auction. The wagon is one of the many Western artifacts that Walter Knott bought to preserve and display at Ghost Town. This particular wagon is 162" x 94" x 75". It is sold "as is". Original wheels and chaise, with repairs and modifications to the upper part made over the years. Fair to Good condition.Auction Info
