For all the additional depth he brought to the character beginning in 1966, Romita the Elder might bear consideration as a co-creator of Spider-Man. This pere-et-fils collaboration (with Villarrubia on color enhancement) captures the eerier qualities of the troubled hero by likening him to a hovering gargoyle. Splendidly reproduced, and signed by all concerned. The 16" x 24" print is framed out to a whopping 24" x 41".
