Jean Giraud (Moebius) - Western Poster Group of 2 (Images et Formes, 1972). Jean Giraud (aka Moebius) had long already made a name for himself in French comics with his series about the Western character Mike Blueberry. Giraud's realistic Western artwork is quite a switch for people who only know him from the sci-fi inspired work he signs as "Moebius". These full color posters may have some connection to the work he would do for the 1974 farcical Western movie, "Touche pas la Femme Blanche! "("Don't Touch The White Woman!"). One poster features three Western gunmen, the other features two American Indians. They measure 27.5" x 40" each. Some handling and edge/corner wear. Overall in Excellent condition. From the Jim Vadeboncoeur, Jr. Collection.
