Description
Firehouse Five Plus Two Goes South Signed Album with 2 Publicity Photos and Ward Kimball Poster (Walt Disney/Good Time Jazz Record Co., 1956/1966). This Dixieland Jazz band was made up of people from the Disney Studios Animation Department. Led by Ward Kimball, the group also featured Danny Alguire, Harper Goff, Clarke Mallery, Monte Mountjoy, Ed Penner, and Frank Thomas. Here is a copy of the group's fifth album with a nice back cover Pogo illustration and liner notes from former Disney staffer and close friend of Kimball's, Walt Kelly. The album cover is signed to Disney story artist Joe Rinaldi's son Wiley from Ward Kimball. Also included are a pair of 10" x 8" publicity photos of the band, and a folded copy of Kimball's 14" x 17.25" "Flood Grand Canyon" poster. Overall condition is Very Good with some handling wear; record appears playable. From the Joe Rinaldi Estate.Auction Info
