    Description

Epcot Space Pavilion Original Concept Proposal Book (Walt Disney, 1999). This is an extremely rare investor book pitching the idea of what would eventually become the Space Pavilion at Walt Disney World's Epcot Center. The spiral-bound 17" x 11" book is titled "Space: A Journey to Imagined Realities" and on the inside opening page, "Space: A Journey Beyond What Is Known." The ride is noted as part of the Horizons Pavilion, with an opening date of Summer 1999. The 26-page book was produced in very limited quantities using color copiers. It's the first one we've seen for what would be called Mission: Space in 2003, after the Horizons Pavilion closed in 1999. A sheet of clear acetate protects the front cover. Overall condition is Very Good with most of the wear on the black back cover.
