EC Weird Science #22 Cover Silverprint Proof (EC, 1953). The final 1950s issue of EC's Weird Science was also one of the very best. This historic issue, which featured Wally Wood's classic "My World" story, also sported a great Wood "alien blob creature" cover. Here's the original 1953 Silverprint proof to that cover, which was held in publisher William Gaines' personal files for many years. The proof is printed same-size as the printed comic, and was hand-colored (either by editor Al Feldstein of EC colorist Marie Severin) for use as a printer's guide. The proof is in Very Good condition, with several staples from a now detached extra sheet of printer instructions.Auction Info
