    Description

EC Weird Fantasy #8 Cover Silverprint Proof (EC, 1951). Ah, the early '50s ECs! Where else in 1951 could you find a ten-cent comic book with a fantastic "abducted by aliens" cover drawn with this kind of detail -- the hideous, "not of this Earth" space creatures, the curved walls of a space ship, loaded down with pipes and gadgets, the curvy girl in the "test tube" contraption... too cool! Even cooler is this historic 1952 EC Silverprint proof of that Al Feldstein cover, wonderfully hand-colored (probably by Feldstein himself) for use as a printer's guide. The proof has an image size same as the published version, with an attached note (written by Feldstein in pencil), and is in Very Good condition.
