EC Shock SuspenStories #4 Cover Silverprint Proof (EC, 1952). Wally Wood's unforgettable image of a man behind the wheel of his car, with the reflection of a woman he just hit and a look of total shock on his face -- now that's a comic book cover! This is an original 1952 Silverprint proof of that cover, hand-colored (either by editor Al Feldstein or main EC colorist Marie Severin), for use as a printer's guide. Printed same as published comic size, with an attached note page, penciled notations, and a "Jolting Tales" cover blurb box cut from a printed comic and stapled on for color reference. The proof has tanned somewhat, but is otherwise in Excellent condition.
