    Description

Disneyland Main Street Electrical Parade Light Display (Walt Disney, c. 1970s-80s). The Main Street Electrical Parade, Disneyland's first nighttime parade, has captivated millions with floats and live performers covered in over 600,000 sparkling lights and featuring "electro-sytha-magnetic musical sounds." The beloved event originally ran from 1972 to 1996, an admirable 24-year run, and it has returned repeatedly to Disney parks around the world ever since. This delightful animated fiberoptic light display was built for installation at Disneyland to advertise the parade and features the parade's drum title float. It measures a substantial 33.5" x 33.25". Its depth measures 12". A remarkably rare piece, the display shows wear and paint/wood chipping from use, and the casing is in Good condition. The lights, currently working as of the writing of this description, continually cycle through a programmed animation. Note: sold as is.
