Description

Disneyland - Alice in Wonderland Park-Displayed Sign (Walt Disney, c. 2000s-2010s). Alice in Wonderland is one of the oldest Disneyland attractions to still be operating at the park to date. It opened in 1958 and has continued to delight guests since then (with a short break taken in the early 1980s for the New Fantasyland refurbishment). Guests arriving at the park were likely relieved to see this sign informing them that the nostalgic attraction was indeed open. The sign features a pastel-hued image of Alice next to the logo for the ride. This park-displayed sign is impressively large, measuring about 25" x 18". The sign is printed on sturdy board, and it has holes in each of the four corners that were used to hang it in the park. This piece of Wonderland is in Good to Very Good condition, with minor handling and edge wear. There is some scuffing on the sign, particularly around the edges and on the back.
From the Rummell Collection.
