    Western Union Telegram and Press Release Regarding the Death of Walt Disney (Walt Disney, 1966). On December 15, 1966 the world lost the creative genius behind groundbreaking films like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Fantasia. He was also responsible for bringing to the public the finest in family entertainment, be it on television with shows like Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color or theme parks like Disneyland and Walt Disney World. That man was Walter Elias Disney, know to the world as Walt. In this lot we have the Western Union Telegram sent by Disney artist and Imagineer, Bruce Bushman to Walt's brother Roy. We also have a press release to the employees at Disney from Roy Disney. Historical documents like these are extremely rare. The Western Union Telegram measures 6.5" x 4.5". The piece has a tear in the upper left quadrant and shows age-related toning. The press release has staple holes in the top left corner and has age-related toning. Fair to Good condition.
