    Description

Walt Disney's Pocahontas Cast Member "Thank You" Photo (Walt Disney, 1995). In the 1990s, during the Disney Renaissance, Disney animated feature films' premieres kept getting bigger and bigger. Pocahontas had its world premiere in New York City's Central Park on 6/10/95. It had live performance by Vanessa Williams and a host of NYC celebrities, including then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani. This event set a record for the largest movie opening crowd of 100,000. This is the rare Cast Thank You photograph of the event, given to everyone at Disney who made this happen. This is Skip Lange's personal copy. Photo is of the crowd with names of all cast members on the team to make this undertaking possible. Matted with a mat opening of 22" x 15". Fine condition. From the Skip Lange Collection.
