The Lion King Academy Award Consideration Box Set (Walt Disney, 1994/95). This beloved modern-day classic garnered two Oscars during the 1995 Academy Awards ceremonies. Here's the rare elaborate box set Disney sent to Academy members, as a "For Your Consideration" gift. The box, when opened, reveals a large pop-up, die-cut image of the animated cast, and includes a lavish, 196-page hardcover coffee table book from 1994, The Art of The Lion King. The box set was never sold to the public. It measures approximately 13" x 16" x 1.5. Minor top left corner crunch. Very Good condition.Auction Info
