Description
Mickey Mouse and Friends Studio Model Sheet Group of 17 (Walt Disney, c. 1930s-70s). Nice collection of studio-used Disney character model sheet. Eight feature Mickey Mouse. One is for Brave Little Tailor (1938), noted as "Action Sketches of Mickey,: with nine full-figure poses. A second 1938 sheet is mostly heads of Mickey, with two full-figure images. A third from 1938 is noted as "Latest Models of Mickey, eight full-figure poses. One sheet is unnamed, with four Mickeys, one Minnie. Two are 1959 Comic Book model sheets, and two small prints are later-day reprints of 1930s model sheets.Donald Duck is featured in two sheets, one with 17 loose full-figure images, one with 20 head shots, one circled in red. There's one sheet for Donald's Nephews (1938) with one image of Donald, six full-figure nephews, plus head and hand images. Two sheets feature Goofy; Daisy Duck, Pluto, Ludwig Von Drake, and Chip 'n' Dale each have one.
All are on photographic print paper, most measuring 11" x 14", with the two later Mickey prints measuring 8" x 10". Condition ranges from Good to Fine, with most Very Good. From the Joe Hale Collection.
