    Description

Goofy Enamel on Glass Framed Picture (Reliance/Walt Disney, 1930s). A framed enamel-on-glass picture of Walt Disney character The Goof, later to be known as Goofy, produced by the Reliance Picture Frame Company in the 1930s. Marked at the lower right "Reliance - © Walt Disney," and the cardboard backing of each frame reads, in part, "D-110; Walt Disney Characters; In colored enamels right on the glass; Mickey Mouse and his Pals of the famous Silly Symphonies are always ready to brighten your home. Reliance and Walt Disney have collaborated to give you the best poses and scenes in the most colorful form of reproduction (hand processed enamels right on the glass) and the delightful antics of those characters are now preserved for you forever, just as they are in many art museums, as examples of the Disney Art." In Excellent condition, with very light wear to the frame extremities.
