Description
"It's a Small World" Press Release Kit and Related Items Group (Walt Disney, 1964). This iconic attraction first opened at the New York World's Fair on 4/22/64, with sponsorship from Pepsi. It was a beautiful attraction, designed by Mary Blair. Here is a rare complete set of four Walt Disney Productions Press Releases for this attraction. They are all in the opened "Pepsi-Cola Walt Disney's It's A Small World -- A Salute to the Children of the World and UNICEF" Press Information envelope. Inside this envelope were Walt Disney Productions Press Releases on studio Small World stationery. One is two pages, one is eight pages long, and one is three pages long. Also included: a typed Fact Sheet and site plan of two pages. This is Mary Blair's personal copy, along with her copy of Pepsi-Cola World Magazine -- June 1964 that has a 14-page article filled with pictures. A Small World VIP Hostess has signed it inside, "To Mary You Little Doll! Love Pam" on page 31. Minor handling and edge wear. Overall, Good condition.
