    Disney Moscow-Leningrad-Tallinn Film Festival Cast Member Jacket (Walt Disney/Chalk Line, 1988). On October 16, 1988, in honor of his 60th birthday, Mickey Mouse made his Russian debut when Disney brought four films to the (then) Soviet Union. Here's a very rare "Cast Member" crew jacket with embroidered images of Mickey on front and back. This cultural exchange brought for the first time Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Fantasia (with Mickey as The Sorcerer's Apprentice), Bambi, and 101 Dalmatians in for sold-out shows in Russian cities Moscow and Leningrad, and in Tallinn, Estonia, for a two-week tour. Michael Eisner and Roy E. Disney led a team of Disney executives to the festival, and this jacket was a souvenir of the event. It's in black felt with a covered zipper front varsity-style, with front pocket embroidery featuring Mickey Mouse, and a large embroidered emblem on back showing Mickey with Misha the Little Bear, the Russian mascot at the 1980 Moscow Olympic games. These rare jackets were never sold to the public. Jacket size is Medium, condition is Fine, with minor storage wear.
