    Description

Dick Tracy 88 Keys Grave Marker by Chester Gould (1949). You'd have to dig deep to find a more heart-stopping curiosity than this: an 88 Keys wooden grave marker drawn and painted by Dick Tracy creator Chester Gould. Gould created this one-of-a-kind, 8" x 3 1/4" item for a Tracy rogue's gallery cemetery plot he constructed for a Chicago Tribune party at his home in 1949. The marker is accompanied by a black-and-white photo of Gould sitting in his makeshift graveyard, with this very 88 Keys marker clearly visible alongside others. This unique collectible was obtained directly from the Gould family gardener and is mounted in a window-box type frame with an identifying card.
