The National Cartoonists Society Portfolio of Fine Comic Art #202/1500 (1978). The National Cartoonists Society was formed in 1946 and numbers some 600 of the world's top cartoonists in its ranks. Here is a striking portfolio from 1978, featuring many comic book and comic strip favorites. The plates of this edition have been hand-signed and numbered. Artists include: Neal Adams, Jack Davis, George Evans, Hal Foster, Gil Kane, Michael W. Kaluta, Selby Kelly, Bernie Wrightson, Johnny Hart, Jack Kirby, Milton Caniff, Jerry Robinson, Jim Steranko, Wally Wood, Russell Myers, Al Williamson, Harvey Kurtzman, Will Eisner, Jeffrey Jones, John Severin, Burne Hogarth, and Barry Windsor-Smith.
