Description
The Incredible Hulk (Jack Kirby-Inspired) Artist's Proof Bronze Statue AP #nn (Marvel/Bowen, 1997). This massive sculpt is one of the heaviest bronzes that Randy Bowen ever produced, and many collectors are going to be angry when someone besides them wins this stunning piece. This artist's proof of the green goliath, which Randy kept in his personal collection, is now ready to smash his way into some lucky fan's collection. The imposing statue only had a production run of 100 pieces, but this was the pre-production example to which Bowen gave his approval. Weighing in at over 35 pounds, this piece sits on a marble base that is approximately 15" wide. The Hulk stands more than 12" tall and has been signed and marked "AP" by Bowen, in silver marker, on the back of the marble base. The bronze has some minor patina loss on the back, and it comes with its COA signed by Stan Lee and Bowen. In Very Fine condition.From the Randy Bowen Collection.
