Description

Robert Crumb-Related Memorabilia (1960s). Interesting group of R. Crumb-related material, including several items from his days as staff artist for American Greetings in Cleveland. Included are three film positives, two for the infamous banned "Mannequin" card; an AGC mailing envelope with Crumb's hand-lettered return address; and a slightly tattered AGC newsbulletin page, with an unsigned Crumb drawing printed on the front. Also included are ten AGC greeting cards with Crumb art, most in VG condition, and fifteen clipped Roberta Smith Office Girl newsletter strips. Rounding out the collection are six copies of various issues of Help! with Crumb contributions, plus a GD copy of Cheap Thrills by Big Brother and the Holding Company (cover only, no record). Average condition on most items is VG.
