Description
Red Ryder Victory Patrol Kit (Dell Comics & Langendorf Bakeries, 1943). Frontier heroes Red Ryder and Little Beaver brace themselves to ambush the bad guys -- all preserved under glass in a promotional kit from a sliced-bread company. This matched set is compatible with (but different from) the same company's Red Ryder Rodeomatic Decoder kit, which also contained the Red Ryder Victory Patrol Super Book of Comics. A Secret Decoder chart (designed to translate cryptic messages from the Red Ryder radio program) appears at upper left. An order blank for a Victory Patrol membership pin appears at right. Front-and-center is the Super Book of Comics, intact but of course sealed within the frame. The panoramic display measures out at a whopping 27.5" x 16.25.
