Description
Patrick Nagel Palm Spring Life Serigraph (Mirage Editions, 1984). Patrick Nagel is best known for his illustrations for Playboy magazine and designing the cover of the best-selling album Rio by the pop group, Duran Duran. His simple and precise imagery reminiscent of the art-deco style of the 1920s and 1930s, with it's bold linear treatment, geometric simplicity, and stylization of form, yielded images that are formal yet decorative, which developed into his distinct style of the "Nagel woman". Image area of 34 x 24", with a facsimile signature in lower right corner. There is a small bump in the left edge, otherwise In Excellent condition.More information about Patrick Nagel.
