    Description

Mr. Freeze Helmet from Batman TV Series (1966). Designed and produced for the 1966 Batman TV series starring Adam West and Burt Ward, this helmet was featured as part of the costume of the dastardly villain Mr. Freeze (George Sanders) in the two-part episode "Instant Freeze/Rats Like Cheese," which originally aired on February 2nd and 3rd, 1966. The piece appears to be a modified motorcycle helmet, fitted with a custom visor and accordion-style collar, and painted silver. Condition is excellent overall; there are some abrasions on the plexiglass visor, and a few small holes in the collar material, but these are fairly invisible on display. Actual props from this beloved series rarely turn up for public auction, so this is a golden opportunity to acquire a piece of comic and television history. Don't get "frozen" out of the bidding!
