Description
EC Vault of Horror #21 Cover Silverprint Proof (EC, 1951). A zoo keeper kills humans to feed his prize alligators in the EC story, "That's a Croc." Here's an original 1951 EC Silverprint cover proof based on that story, with art by Johnny Craig. The print was hand-colored by either editor Al Feldstein of EC colorist Marie Severin, for use as a printer's guide. The proof itself has faded somewhat, but the hand-applied color is still bright. A color-match swatch was taped to the masthead, and the tape has yellowed and stained a small area of the paper. Overall Very Good condition.Auction Info
