Dick Tracy Rogues' Gallery Graveyard Promo (The Chicago Tribune, 1950s) Condition: NM. "The World's Worst Rest in Woodstock [Illinois]" reads the headline of this Chicago Tribune promo article revealing the story of Dick Tracy cartoonist Chester Gould's creation of a mock-cemetary of Tracy villains, complete with illustrated headstones (the actual Gould-produced grave marker for 88 Keys is currently being auctioned). This rare 13" x 9 3/4" one-sheet article includes a photo of Gould kneeling over his makeshift cemetery and a list of Tracy villain fates from Spaldoni [died: 1934] thru Mrs. Volt [died: 1948].
