Dick Tracy Advertisement and Promotional Contest Letter (circa 1949). Two unique Dick Tracy items; a letter dated March 3, 1949 sent from the Chicago Tribune-New York News Syndicate asking newspapers to participate in the "Dick Tracy Mystery Contest," and explaining the details; and a 10.5" x 13" two color point of purchase card advertising the Dick Tracy comic strip, which was running in the New York Sunday News.
