Bill Watterson Calvin and Hobbes "The Last Sunday" Signed Lithograph Print dated 12-31-95 (Universal Press Syndicate, 1995). This full-color print of the very last Calvin and Hobbes strip still catches us short and brings a tear to the eye. It was a masterful way to go out: full of hope and excitement and energy. But we knew we were losing two of our dearest friends that day. We have had the privilege of selling some of these before, and they have sold for anywhere from $5,000-$10,000. The 13.75" x 10" print is hand-signed by Watterson in the last panel. It was sent from Universal Press Syndicate to newspapers that carried the strip. The print is glass front framed to 19.5" x 15.5" with an image area of 12.5" x 8.75". There are slight dings and dents from handling, and the frame has very minor scratches and a few chips on the right corners. There is also two light color rubs in the last panel - one to the right of the characters, another just below, which can be seen as faint lines in our online image. Otherwise In Excellent condition.
