Description

Bill Watterson Calvin and Hobbes "The Last Sunday" Signed Lithograph Print dated 12-31-95 (Universal Press Syndicate, 1995). This full-color print of the very last Calvin and Hobbes strip still brings a tear to the eye. It was a masterful way to go out -- full of hope and excitement and energy. We knew we were losing two of our dearest friends that day. Heritage has had the privilege of selling some of these before, and the demand has just continued to outpace supply! The examples we have auctioned over the last three years have sold for anywhere from $7,200-$28,800. Hand-signed by Watterson in the last panel, the prints were sent from Universal Press Syndicate to newspapers that carried the strip. The 13.75" x 10" color print is in Excellent condition.
