Description

APA-I #100 Fanzine (APA-I, 2003). An "APA" is an Amateur Press Association (often a a membership/club) where individual members prepare flyers or newsletters, make copies equal to the membership total, then send them to a central location where they are collated for distribution to all members as an issue of that APA publication. APA-I is a rather important and long-running one. Formed in 1978, it is still running today and along the way spawned the Grand Comic Book Database, an online resource whose goal is to 'contain information on every comic book ever published'. This issue of APA-I celebrates its 100th issue and is huge! It contains 52 submissions (and may not be complete) that stack approximately 3" tall! Notable contributors include: Michelle Nolan, Mark Carlson, Robert Wood, Murray Ward, Jim Vadeboncoeur Jr., Robin Snyder, Don Mangus, Bob Klein, and Jerry Bails. The approximately 8.5" x 11" pages are often stapled or paperclipped with some edge/corner wear. Overall in Excellent condition. From the Jim Vadeboncoeur Jr. Collection.
