    "The Comics...Very Funny!" Pamphlet by Fredric Wertham, M. D. (Institute of Crime Prevention, 1948). The lot consists of a copy of "The Comics...Very Funny!", a pamphlet by Dr. Fredric Wertham, noted psychiatrist and champion of eradicating violence and sadism in comics, books, movies and radio shows. It contains reprinted material from The Saturday Review of Literature focusing on the demise of America's youth due to the influences of comic books. Also contained is a 1953 newspaper clipping from the Christian Science Monitor entitled "Do Comic Books Cause Juvenile Delinquency?" The lot is in VG+ condition.
