    Description

Carl Barks Sheriff of Bullet Valley Signed Limited Edition AP Lithograph #10/30 (Edition 313, 1995). This richly hued shootout scene was based on Carl Barks' own 1948 Four Color #199 tale, "The Sheriff of Bullet Valley." As all fans know by now, Carl Barks was the genius behind the creation of "Scrooge McDuck," the world's richest duck, and he drew the comic book adventures of Donald Duck, his nephews, and Uncle Scrooge in the 1940s-1960s. This lithograph, by Edition 313, reproduced the first copies true to the original as a continuous, eight-color lithograph, and this is the first lithograph issued in 1995 by Detlef Giesler & Klaus Bohn. This artist's proof was printed on acid free, cotton fibre paper with an overall size of 22" x 28". Light handling wear, faint curving, and dust shadows along the margins. Signed by Barks in lower left. Comes with a COA. In Very Good condition. From the Personal Collection of Bill Cole.
