Description
Vintage Batman and Robin Metal Lithographed Trash Can/Wastepaper Basket and Rare Batman Poster Group of 2 (Cheinco, 1966). This scarce, vintage Cheinco Batman and Robin trash can is in extremely impressive condition. It stands 12" tall and features a colorful image of the Dynamic Duo, in front of the Batmobile, and has "Batman" and "Robin" printed on the back, surrounding the Bat-symbol. It has only minuscule scratching, three almost indiscernible dents, and is rust-free! We have never seen a nicer one. In Excellent condition.Also included is a marvelous copy of the large (27" x 40") and rare 1966 Batman poster produced by G&F Posters of New York City, who also produced 1966 posters of Superman and Robin, the Boy Wonder. This was the same image used for the cover to Detective Comics #331. The poster is shrinkwrapped to a piece of foam core board and is in Excellent condition, with light toning and just a few barely noticeable wrinkles. Not listed in Hake's.
